Overseas gaming content creator rigadeath_ recently garnered attention by sharing a gameplay video of Resident Evil 3 Remake running with DLSS 5 enabled. The video, recorded using an RTX 4070, shows Jill facing multiple zombies on the street; however, the creator became distracted while playing, allowing the zombies to grab and maul Jill, ultimately leading to her death.
RTX 4070 Testing Resident Evil 3 Remake with DLSS 5
It is worth noting that DLSS 5 has not yet been officially implemented in a wide range of games. The DLSS 5 functionality seen here in Resident Evil 3 Remake is not officially supported; instead, it was forcibly integrated into the game by a player using tools or modifications for testing purposes.

Developed by Capcom and released in 2020 using the RE Engine, Resident Evil 3 (Remake) follows Jill’s escape from Raccoon City and her battle against zombies during the biological disaster. The official version of the game did not originally support DLSS; however, the player community previously introduced technologies such as DLSS and DLAA via mods to enhance visual quality and performance.

As testing for DLSS 5 ramps up, an increasing number of classic titles are being used to showcase its potential impact. However, current implementations remain unofficial, and actual performance may differ from the final, official release.
